The Usual Suspects

The Story

Once upon a before time, Adam and Eve as children of God lived in the blessed Garden of Eden. This was a Heavenly realm of almost pure Light, and being here was a blissful paradise. Adam and Eve were part of the same entity, a perfectly balanced being of true glory and magnificence. Here, negativity and darkness were resigned to a mere small corner. Lurking there, in the shade of the Tree of Knowledge, where the sumptuous forbidden fruit lay hanging so temptingly from the Tree.

As children of God, they had never ventured over to this place because as they had been told, “this was no place for a child”. Yet eventually their curiosity began to grow until they could no longer bear not asking God to tell them more. “God,” they asked, “what is negativity, what is darkness, what is evil?”

“Well, my sweet children” God replied “I knew this moment would eventually arise, that curiosity would overcome you, for this is how I created you! It is the key to your freedom” “These things you wish to know more about, they are the so-called ugly side of Life” To know these things, you must experience them” “To do so, can be terrifying, striking fear into the core of your very being” “Your innocence will be lost”

“You have heard about the nature of duality, The Brighter the Light, the Darker the shadow that accompanies it” “I am the brightest Light of ALL, and that is why my shadow is the darkest” “You see, The Tree of Knowledge is not merely a tree, but a portal to a place that is The Garden of Eden’s polar opposite” “Here is where you will find chaos, evil reigns supreme, there is suffering and sadness, you can feel small, hopeless and insignificant.” “Here you are mortal, and can die” “All of the things which right now are completely alien to you.”

Adam and Eve not perturbed, were instead completely intrigued, they desired more than anything to understand these concepts. They eagerly asked God, “How do we get there?” God responded “Living on The Tree of Knowledge is The Serpent of Wisdom known as Satan, to go there, Satan is the one that you must speak to.”

Who is Satan they naively inquired? “Satan, is my shadow, the One who is my polar opposite” “If you wish to know the Whole of who you are, then you must enter the Darkness” “A single candle in a sea of candles, as you are here, can never know its true glory” “it is only in the Darkness that you will see the splendour of who you truly are” “To know who you are, you must know what you are not because without both, there can be neither”

“We desire more than anything to know our glorious splendour they eagerly exclaimed”, God beamed, smiling so beautifully, and said “my wonderful children, you are now ready to grow up” “you are ready to know yourself as the god that you are” “You are now ready to step into the place of darkness, go now and I will be here to greet you on your return from your hero’s journey” “your eyes will be opened in a way you could never have conceived of as possible.”

They said goodbye to God, knowing their conscious connection would be severed during their time in The World of Darkness. They knew that this would be unbelievably challenging, but with the challenge came the precious prize of truly understanding the glory of who they are, divinity itself.

So they left the safe haven of heavenly light, as they approached closer to The Tree of Knowledge, a strange feeling overcame them, as they entered the shade they began to feel cold. Suddenly they noticed the eyes of Satan gazing in their direction.

He said to them, “Do not be afraid, for I am here to help you attain wisdom” “My challenges offer you the chance to grow, an opportunity to realise your full potential.”

“Through this portal, there is a physical world called Mother Earth, here there is a golden opportunity to create a physical manifestation of The Garden of Eden. But first, you must travel The Dark Night of the Soul, and go through Hell and into the heart of darkness. I will have control over this world, I will create so much Darkness that there will be a perpetual night, a seemingly everlasting winter.”

“When experiencing this you will be far removed from your comfort zones, yet this is where you expand and grow the most. To reach Heaven and The Light, you must have your roots firmly in The Darkness of Hell. This level of Life can be torturous, it can break you, leaving you feeling hopeless. As part of this process, you will inhabit human forms, for the first time you will know what it feels like to be vulnerable, to be lonely, to be scared and to be angry. Yet at times, you will also know comfort, happiness, joy and love as if they are new and fresh.”

“This journey through Hell can feel never-ending when you are going through it, and the closer you get to the end the more hopeless it appears, the Darkest hour will be the one before dawn. Your desire to quit will reach its peak the nearer you become to succeeding. This is the way it’s designed, to draw out the best of you. By digging deep, you ignite your soul.

“When you make it through the darkness of the night, awaiting you is a glorious new dawn where the marriage and union of Heaven and Earth will take place. At long last, you will be reunited with one another. This will be a truly magical time when you realise your divinity whilst you are manifested into flesh. When you know your true nature, Life will reflect that.”

“I will be your opponent in this game for it is in my name, creating the darkness so you can have free will to express your Light.”

“Do you accept my challenge?”

Despite knowing of the horrors that awaited them in the grisly night, they did not hesitate. “We accept, God, has said to us” “the only way we can know what we have, is to experience life without it. So take us to the place where you go where nobody knows if it's night or day”

So, Adam and Eve had to do the most alien thing of all and say goodbye to one another. All they had ever known was each other’s company. They took an oath and swore that they would remain friends no matter what happened, and make it to the end of the night when the sun would shine again and they could be reunited. That when the sunlight returns, together they shall shine.

So they took a bite from the forbidden fruit and entered through The Portal of Darkness and suddenly for the first time, they were separated from one another. And they descended from the realm of the absolute and spirit, into the material world of polarity, and a physical body. This feels like being ripped away from a warm duvet in the middle of the night to be thrown out cold and naked into the streets. This is why the baby cries when it is born. So to know themselves as divine they manifested into the flesh.

They knew it wasn't going to be an easy task, yet they could never have foreseen just how hard it would be until they experienced it for real. Adam and Eve did not sin by eating the forbidden fruit, but by doing so, they did do evil things and had evil things done to them. This was not a punishment but the key driver of their evolution.

Only by having the choice of the darkness could they choose the light. Only by having the option to do evil could they decide to do good, because, without the choice for both, there is the choice for neither, which is simply no good!

In this world the most unthinkable of acts can take place, human beings and the system within which they live are guided by darkness. Satan has command over this domain during the night and so Life reflects that. This is The Garden of Eden’s shadow form. The darker the night, the brighter the day that follows.

Adam and Eve spent many lifetimes experiencing this world of darkness, over millennia they grew, understanding the need for balance and so gaining wisdom. They experienced the full spectrum and plethora of what life in this world had to offer, spending lives as many different characters along the way.

They came to know what it was to be rich and poor, strong and weak, royalty and commoner, beautiful and ugly, good and evil, man and woman, woman and man and everything in between. In their lives, they went through tragedy and triumph, highs and lows, hope and hopelessness, pain and pleasure, depression and joy.

Eventually, although separated, through their experiences they each became whole. When this happened they were ready to be incarnated into their final earth lives in the world of darkness, and would reunite at last, signifying the dawning of the new day. It was time to fulfil the oath they made at the beginning of this journey of separation. This was their time to shine, to have their day in the sun. They understood that awaiting them was the most magical of moments.

Yet first they would have to enter our modern world, here the people are hugely divided, and there is vast inequality, leading to extreme poverty. The people are made to fight and compete over everything. It is a time when hate and division have triumphed over love and unity, greed has poisoned humanity's soul. Darkness dominates all power structures. It is a world that on the surface appears to be a hopeless place.

Here, Satan has convinced people that he doesn’t even exist, imprisoning them whilst making them think they are free. In this place, the people are at war with each other, themselves and the world around them. They are systematically destroying their bodies, minds and the environment in which they live. Greed is seen as good, wealth and power have pooled like ink, and corruption has infiltrated the very highest of places.

Yet conversely, these are the perfect conditions for humanity’s awakening. Within the chaos is the ideal opportunity to manifest a new world order. A coming together as One for humanity, the next step on our evolutionary journey. Our time to manifest the Garden of Eden on Earth.

Adam and Eve’s journey is not just theirs alone but a journey we souls take on ourselves so that we can come to remember the wonder of who we really are. The journey through experiencing all of the things that we are not, so we can become all of the things we truly are. Of looking into our shadow and finding the light.

Adam and Eve begin their final lives seemingly worlds apart, their coming together will be against almost impossible odds. Legend has it, one of Satan’s cohorts the Sandman has cast a spell on Eve. And she is sleepwalking into hell on earth, by his side completely unaware and innocent of her true identity.

Beasts of the field blind her path, they know not what they do.

It is said that only the ultimate sequence of letters can awaken her from the spell and lead her to her salvation. Here, is found the truth of the cause of suffering.

Eve has the most beautiful voice in the land and it is through the sound of music that they will awaken to their destiny. As they draw closer their spirit begins communion: -

Adam: - “Eve, you have been given a bad name, I am here to put this right. I have come to understand that sometimes, a good girl must go bad or you could never know her at all. At times you may have acted evil through the night, but you were perfectly good at it.”

Eve: - “I did this for us so that we could know each other to the fullest. I would have crawled over broken glass for you, and that's what it felt like without you in my life. I would do it all over again for you, for us, and that is why I ate the forbidden fruit with you and revealed my ugly side. I did it so that you would know ALL of me. I would do anything to make you feel my Love. I know you will not hold my past against me because you too have seen the dark side.”

Adam: - I would die for you, have lived a lie for you. I had to learn to live without you to know the true value of living with you. Through your absence, the fondness in my heart for you has grown into something special. Which reflects your true worth in my life. I feel your pain from being out in the rain, you sheltered me with your umbrella, and well that was just stellar. No matter how dark things became through the night you will always be my 'Little Miss Sunshine', and I am here to give you that sunshine back. I can kiss it better because I can kiss away the pain.”

Eve: - “I would jump into a tank full of sharks blind in the dark just so I could leave my mark on your heart. Through the gift of separation, we have performed a successful operation, and together we come alive to help heal a nation. Wherever you are, I will find that treasure with perfect measure, it's what I live for it brings me pleasure.”

Adam: - “I would walk through fire if that was your desire, I would burn if it meant I could learn to love you better. And my scars will show you this is not just letters. Life has been testing, but I am not resting, now in your heart, I am nesting. There are too few words to express the utter zest this moment can bring. To hear you sing is so captivating, that you have me levitating, and stating all that I have been deeply contemplating. On hearing your music of the sun I knew a new day had just begun.”

Eve; - “United we have the power of magic, and if we didn't use it now that would be tragic. When we are One, we shine bright like the Sun. When we come together, dreams come true, and solutions manifest out of the blue. This is the wonder of you, and together we shall see this through. I know we can do it, this is our moment, to unite, end fright, turn night to dawn, and lead our people into the morn.”

Adam; - “Let’s hit the lights and right the wrongs of the night. We can make this place paradise, it’s time to be nice and not think twice, let's make this a better life. It starts here and now with me and you, you and I, now let's show the world a love that will never die.”

Eve: - “We have a bond that is unbreakable, and I have in you a faith that is unshakeable. Who knows where this could lead? We can push new boundaries, and create endless possibilities, as we unify the dualities. As the sands of time unify us in rhyme, opposites come together, leading to better weather.”

Adam: - “You bring me inspiration through your perspiration, we will inspire a generation to create a new world, are you ready to discover tomorrow? When it comes to style you always go the extra mile, an innovator and a demonstrator you rise above dem haters. In the chaos, we found one another through sound and now we have been crowned.

Eve: - “It was only in the dark that I could see that the sun will always shine for the one who believes. Now in this situation, let's do some meditation in relation to bringing the world peace and a release of the hurt and pain. To erase the irremovable stain. We must not wane but rise and take our share of the blame if we are to take the prize. Life is for living, I live to give and giving to you is what gets me through.”

Adam: - “You're the only one I see, and now I know you will believe, for in my eyes you shall see the life inside of me. When I looked into your eyes the sun began to rise, bringing to life new meaning with open eyes I am dreaming. There is so much more in store as we share our lore.”

Eve: - “The moment our eyes met, I knew that we had never truly been apart, because we are a part of one another. One became two so that two could know themselves as One. The wait is ova, a new world is born, all across the land dawns a brand new morn.”

Adam: - “With you by my side, I will take it all in my stride. I will not hide, I will rise. We found love in a hopeless place and together we realised where there is love there is always hope. We shall help end war and the mass larceny of the poor, and stop pretending that it doesn't need mending.”

Eve: - “This is why there are none who will not succumb, to a love that soars like a dove in the sky high above. A symbol of peace has come, and now it is time to become One.”

Satan: - Yours is a love story that can help lead to a whole new chapter for humanity. Let’s talk about music because I know it’s something that holds a special place in both of your hearts and brings you together like nothing else can.

Eve: - I stepped into a place of silence, it was here I discovered the force of sound, and my power was born. I have been given a unique connection to the divine through music and have been blessed with a golden voice that has already reached so many.

My voice is my power and through my talent, I have ascended to the very pinnacle of the musical world. It has given me a platform to reach the masses and an opportunity to tell my story and touch the lives of so many people with my song. Music is my world and I have come to see that life is more than just a play it is a musical. Please don’t ever stop the music because it provides the soundtrack to our lives. I say to God thank you for the music.

I sang my heart out knowing deep down that I could find my beloved through my song. I knew all along that somewhere he was here with me and that truly he was never lost. And so like gold dust coming out of the speakers my song spoke to him and went through his ears and straight to his heart.

Adam: - Music is unique because its appeal is so widespread and its language universal. Its ability to reach us on a deeper level is unparalleled. Music speaks to us on a level beyond the words and taps into our souls and can resonate with us in a very deep and special way.

I have always loved the way music makes me feel, and with its rich diversity, there is always a song to match every mood. Music can stir up memories of childhood, or take you back to a time that was special to you. Bringing with it a warm glow of nostalgia. With or without lyrics it can take you on a vivid journey conjuring up an infinite array of imagery, what we take from it is unique to each of us, and is like a precious gift.

Music can also aid us in escaping the whirlwind of thoughts spinning through our minds and bring us into the bliss of present-moment awareness. Life without it would be a life devoid of joy, a world without colour, and one which lacks meaning.

Music is a revelation that can reveal deep hidden meanings about the nature of life. It is a great way for the divine to communicate with us because music is inspired. By learning to listen more deeply hidden meanings reveal themselves to us, and patterns emerge out of the disorder. Music can speak of the truest of truths and uncover what has been sleeping in our souls.

Before I came to this life God said to me “my son the path to Eve is treacherous and riddled with danger, the only way you can make it up there is if you’re willing to play Devil’s advocate. It is impossible unless you believe in me, you must be as drunk as Daniel in the lion’s den.

To help you remember I will put it into songs that remind you of the place where you were born. In this way, you shall know that heaven has a plan for you and it will remind you of your best friend and childhood sweetheart Eve. If you are to find her you must not let your voice be tamed. Follow her into the spotlight. It is not far now, my child. Your eyes are her armour. Your voice, her shield.”

“Eve you are the kind of girl boys read about in glossy magazines, yet with you, I only need one shot because I will always be your star. For it is in your heart that I belong. My love is your love, and your love is my love, it would take an eternity to try and break us. Our love is here to stay.

Eve reached me through her song and made me feel like together we belong. She is simply great and because of her I can no longer hate and I find myself walking through the door of room number 8. I found the key when I heard her sing to me, I have found infinity the holy trinity, this is divinity.

The music trembled and brought us together.

It is music that will unite us forever in the land of tomorrow.”

Satan: - “It’s wonderful to hear you speak about something that has touched you so profoundly and weaves your story together so majestically. It is the catalyst for this whole process and bringing you back to unity. It is the harmonious voice of creation singing to you of the uni-verse. You can take a sad song and make it better by coming together, and this you can do on this planet right now.

Are you ready to rock and roll? Good my friends, now let’s continue our stroll. Now I am here to find out what you discovered in my world of Darkness.

Adam; - Without the knowledge of both good and evil, we could not know the good, and that is worse than evil. Life is not all about the light but a harmonious balance, it is only in the dark that you can become enlightened.

Eve: - We are all willing participants in this game we are playing and helping to co-create. Life is a cycle and this one has required darkness, pain, evil, and slavery. Yet it is these very things that have allowed us to know our light, find meaning in pain, has given us the choice to be good and to truly know what is to be free. Sometimes the only way you can truly know freedom is if you are free to be enslaved. Tonight we dine in hell, so in the morning we can feast in heaven.

Adam: - This place wasn’t meant to be comfortable, it wasn’t made to be easy, it is meant to be a challenge, it was made to test you, to be the catalyst for your growth. The truth is we can’t always be happy, we can’t always live in peace; we can’t always know what it is to feel true love. We have to experience it ALL to be able to experience any of it; only by accepting the pain and suffering can we overcome the need to experience it. We will look back at all the pain and hurt, all the alienation of our adolescence as a great gift that shaped our beautiful destiny.

Eve: - If life hadn’t been so challenging we never could have risen to become champions, if it had not been so dark we would never have been able to shine like stars, if it had not been so fearful we could never have known this beautiful love we now share.

Satan: - “Excellent, through your endeavours here you have grown so much. You have come to understand the essentiality of duality. You have taken a big leap forward and found a way to bridge the so-called opposites. You have built a bridge of unity across a chasm of chaos.”
